About Rowena

Rowena Dungca joined Wuersch & Gering in 2013. She is a corporate and commercial lawyer whose practice focuses on advising clients, ranging from start-ups to established companies, in domestic and cross-border transactions. Rowena regularly assists clients in expanding their business operations in the U.S. She manages various projects in connection with such expansion including the incorporation and operation of U.S. subsidiaries, restructuring, corporate governance issues as well as the preparation and negotiation of various commercial agreements. Rowena has extensive experience assisting clients in the sectors of e-commerce, intellectual property licensing, manufacturing, telecommunications, marketing, engineering, wholesale and retail. She has prepared and negotiated various commercial agreements, advised clients on streamlining their contract review processes and conformed existing business and legal policies from abroad with applicable U.S. laws. Rowena also advises clients on data privacy compliance issues by preparing and maintaining privacy notices and disclosures, assisting clients with consumers’ requests and compliance with legal requirements. Due to Rowena’s diverse cultural and educational background from Asia, Europe and the U.S., she is able to understand and address client’s concerns in navigating the U.S. market and provide pragmatic advice that balances the client’s business interests and legal concerns.

Rowena obtained her law degree in Vienna, Austria where she also practiced law before moving to the U.S. She obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at Fordham University School of Law in New York City with a cum laude and was part of the editorial staff of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal and the Fordham International Law Journal. Rowena is an active alumna of Fordham University School of Law and joined its faculty as an adjunct professor, teaching Commercial Drafting to LL.M. students.
