Sylvi Sareva joins Wuersch & Gering
Wuersch & Gering is pleased to announce that Sylvi Sareva has joined the firm as Counsel in the Litigation Department, effective May 18, 2026.
Sylvi represents clients in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration, with substantial experience handling cross-border disputes involving corporate counterparties. Her practice spans all phases of litigation and arbitration, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and appellate briefing, as well as strategic counseling and negotiated resolutions.
Sylvi also brings extensive experience with international arbitral frameworks, including ICC, AAA, and UNCITRAL, and familiarity with matters involving state-owned entities, the enforcement of arbitral awards, and foreign sovereign immunity.
Sylvi earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was a Notes Editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics, and her B.A., cum laude, from Kenyon College. Sylvi is admitted in New York and before multiple federal courts. She is fluent in Finnish and proficient in French.
