Exhibition Dates: May 31, 2012 — April 30, 2013

Thilo Sekol, born 1966, has been an active artist for many years. After completing his high school diploma and studies in Mannheim, Germany and USA, he now lives in Hirschberg, Germany.

Born in the city of Hagen, the Westphalian has been working in the art area for many years. His paintings are well accepted by a broad honor and enthusiasm. Many of his pieces are bought by interested art people and also shown to the public in smaller exhibitions. His work is widely located – in London, Paris, New York, Detroit, Tokyo, Munich and Berlin.

His primary objective is abstract Art, so-called action painting. He prefers the expression of the pure color, free of any figures, particularly on large surfaces. He feels that clean color determines form, creates emotion and leads to an argumentation, which is free of any other influence. Sekol considers his art as “postmodern impressionism.”
